One look at the bottle and you know that if as much passion has gone into the contents as went into designing what must be considered a work of art, then you are in for something special. Gleaming gold with genuine handmade and polished pewter labels the whole package presents a stunning feast to the eyes. Designed by Jean Jacques Cattier for the fashion house of Andre Courreges, this Champaign has made an appearance at the golden Jubilee Celebrations of Queen Elizabeth 11 and on several music videos’ by a notable pop star. Its name came from Cottier’s mother who was reading a book with one character called De Brignac; it remained dormant since the 1940’s until being resurrected to become the Brand name. The Champagne is rich and creamy with complex nuances, great depth and with a long silky finish. It is blended from exactly the same quantities of the three dominant Champaign regions grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Menuier and Pinot Noir. All in all this is a tremendous product in every aspect.
